THE PROJECT

Project Description

The main objective of the ECONOMY FOR LIFE  project is to improve the economic and financial education of young Europeans (18-30 years old), providing them with basic, useful and practical knowledge so that they can develop freely in society and in their daily lives, especially in their economic activities. The idea of the project was born as a response to the lack of training in this field, or to the shortcomings of current training, as many studies highlight, such as the PISA report. Economic education in schools and universities is quite poor, often non-existent, leading to financial illiteracy among a significant number of young people.

Our Objectives

The objectives are directly related to our priorities of promoting active citizenship, youth initiative and youth entrepreneurship

1. To promote equal training opportunities, aiming to meet the needs of young people with lower performance or lower socio-economic conditions

2. To improve the financial education of young adults so that they can function as European citizens with greater autonomy and efficiency in society.

3. To seek a more prosperous and supportive society and sustainable growth.

Target Group

The project targets young Europeans aged between 18 and 30. More specifically, those who have just finished high school and are going to start university life, as well as those who are in full university education, degree or master’s degree, and those who enter the world of work for the first time in more serious and better paid jobs.
